Soothing Ginger and Cinnamon Tea

This soothing ginger and cinnamon tea is flavoured with dried spices and sweetened with natural honey.

  • 3 L Pot


  • 2 L water
  • 80 gm ginger, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 whole clove
  • 1/4 cup honey


  • Place all ingredients, other than the honey, in a medium saucepan and bring to the boil over high heat.
  • Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Strain the liquid and return to the saucepan. Add the honey and stir until dissolved.
  • Taste check and adjust to your preferences.
  • Serve hot or chilled.
